“COME TO THE CROSS”...…Today we lift up in prayer the following juniors: Taylor Nehmer, Carla Nelson, Kyle Neumann, Nicholas Neumann, Arvonte’ Nolton, Joslyn Odom and Mr. John Ellenberger in our Science Department.

 

 

Students trying out for track, boys golf, boys tennis, girls soccer, girls softball and students who have not already signed up for baseball must sign up in the Athletic Office this week.  Please check the posted list to make sure that you have all necessary forms BEFORE try-outs begin.

 

REMINDER—All Spring Athletes must attend the sports meeting in the field house on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 pm unless you have been excused by your coach.

 

Summer opportunity for current freshmen, sophomores, juniors interested in a career in the health field:  Summer Science Enrichment Program (6 weeks) - Marquette University - applications and further information are available from your Guidance Counselor.  Must have a 3.0 G.P.A. and complete 2 semesters of biology or chemistry, be financially (federal guidelines) disadvantaged or be a first generation potential college student.  NO cost to you!

 

 

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

1.  IMMANUEL BROOKFIELD - Babysitters needed for adult Bible Study group - Tuesdays, 6:25pm-8:15pm.  BEGINS--  See Mrs. Heinkel!

2.  EASTBROOK ACADEMY - Dinner Auction workers needed - Saturday, Feb. 13th, 5:00-7:30pm.  Dinner provided.  Sign up by Feb. 6th.

3.  WRESTLING SECTIONALS - February 20th, 10:00am-8:00pm - multiple jobs available.

4.  NORTHWEST LUTHERAN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - February 26-28th - multiple jobs available.  Call Mrs. Cucinello at 414/463-4040, ext. 110.

5.  FACULTY/STAFF APPRECIATION BREAKFAST - details coming at the next meeting!
