1. Application
* All transfer students must complete an Application for Enrollment to be submitted with academic and behavioral records from their previous school. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation, one of which should be from the pastor of their congregation. A $100 tuition deposit is also required and will be applied upon acceptance to the tuition balance.
* Academic records to be submitted include: Current Transcript - including a list of current and planned courses, Course Description List from current school, and most recent standardized test scores (these may include results from the 8th grade).
* Failure to provide requested records in a timely manner or providing false or misleading information may result in the applicant not being accepted for admission.
* Application for enrollment forms may be picked up in the MLHS office or printed from this website. Applications will only be reviewed after submission of ALL materials.
2. Admission Interview
* All transfer applicants with satisfactory academic and behavioral records will be asked to complete a personal interview with a member of the MLHS Admission Council. Parents are required to attend the interview.
* In the interview, the mission and expectations of MLHS will be discussed in relation to the student's previous records. Applicants may be denied admission based upon an unsatisfactory interview.
* Applicants may be asked to complete a secondary interview.
3. Entrance Exam
* Transfer applicants may be required to complete an MLHS Placement Exam in order to be admitted and properly assigned to courses.
4. Registration
* Applicants who have successfully completed completed an Application for Enrollment, interview, and necessary Placement Exams must schedule a personal registration appointment by calling the Guidance Office at (414) 461-6000.
