 Admission Process For Non-LHSAGM Students

1.  Application

*  All non-association students must complete an Application for Enrollment to be submitted with a current report card, most recent standardized test results, and behavioral records from their previous school.  Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation, one of which should be from the pastor of their congregation.

    *  Failure to provide requested records in a timely manner or providing false or misleading information may result in the applicant not being accepted for admission.  Applications must be submitted by January 19, 2009 in order to be given priority placement and selection of courses.

    *  Application for Enrollment forms may be picked up in the MLHS office or can be printed by clicking on the Enrollment Applications link on the left side of this page.

LATE APPLICATIONS.  Students who would like to be considered for possible late testing in April must submit an Application, Letter of Recommendation, Report Cards, and most recent standardized test results.  Acceptable candidates will be informed if space in the 9th grade class remains and if a late Placement Exam will be offered in April.  All application materials must be submitted as soon as possible.

2.  Admission Interview

*  All non-association applicants with satisfactory academic and behavioral records may be asked to complete a personal interview with a member of the MLHS Admission Council.  Parents are required to attend the interview.

    *  In  the interview, the mission and expectations of MLHS will be discussed in relation to the student's previous records.  Applicants may be denied admission based upon an unsatisfactory interview.

    *  Applicants may be asked to complete a secondary interview.

3.  Entrance Exam

    *  All applicants are required to complete the MLHS Entrance Exam in order to be admitted. There is a $10 cash testing fee for all non-association students.  Applicants must submit a completed Application for Enrollment and pre-register to take the exam.  Only the results of November testing day will be considered for academic tuition grants.

    *  After the Nov. 12 deadline for registration for the Exam, interested applicants may be offered a late testing opportunity, if space remains available in the 9th grade class.  Applicants who have submitted all required application materials, including letters of recommendation and report cards, will be notified if the test will be offered, however, the opportunity for normal registration cannot be guaranteed.

4.  Registration

    *  Applicants who have completed the Application for Enrollment and MLHS Placement Exam, and have successfully completed the interview process, must schedule a personal registration appointment by calling the Guidance Office (414) 461-6000.

    *  A non-refundable $100 tuition deposit is required at the time of registration.  Upon acceptance, the deposit is applied to the tuition balance.

    *  Registration dates for incoming Non-Association students (Class of 2013) will be held:

        February 4, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Appointments every 15 minutes)
