National Honor Society (N.H.S.) is a nationally recognized organization which recognizes high school students for their outstanding academic achievement, their positive character, and their leadership and service in their school, community, and church. Our MLHS chapter emphasizes using their gifts and talents for the glory of Jesus Christ. 

Students at Milwaukee Lutheran are eligible for membership following 4 semesters of school, achieving a 3.5 cumulative G.P.A. at that time. Students must complete an application process and are evaluated by a faculty committee. Induction into N.H.S. takes place in late October.   

Milwaukee Lutheran’s chapter of N.H.S. is an active service organization. Members meet once a month – 1st Wednesdays - 7:00 AM in the cafeteria They are required to complete 30 hours of service each semester. You will see members serving at many events around MLHS.

1st MEETING:  WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD - 7:00 AM - CAFETERIA - Seniors only!

DUES ARE DUE - $20.00 (includes long-sleeved shirt); dues are used for our charity projects and activities for the year! 

Applications for membership for juniors and seniors are in the mail.  All applications, letters of recommendation, and the behavior covenant are due to Mrs. Heinkel by September 15th.
