If there are any conflicts with your schedule due to doctor's appointments, family circumstances, etc. please let Mrs. White or Mr. Guilford know in writing not just verbally at least 24 hours in advance or the absence could be viewed as unexcused.
It is very important that each actor and actress know his or her own schedule conflicts: sports, babysitting, doctor’s appointments, work youth group activities, etc. and communicate them to the director. The directors understand unforeseen circumstances arise. However, if the directors feel that it is not an excused absence and the 3 unexcused absences have accumulated with the two month rehearsal period, then he or she may be removed from his or her role and replaced with someone else, or he or she may have difficulty in being cast for future shows.
