***NEWS***

September 08 - School has begun and we announced additional team tryouts for the first week of September.  We had eight new dancers try out and have selected four additional team members.  We continue to work extremely hard preparing for Man-Poms, Homecoming, new sidelines etc.  We have also secured a $2500 donation from CDI - Commerical Design Interiors as a new sponsor for our Pom Pals clinics!!  How awesome is that!

The team will be working at Buycostumes.com this fall helping out our budget with their re-investment program.  It is work but also a lot of fun. 

We will have the opportunity to purchase new sweatshirts & sweatpants items for our team, parents and supporters.  Please watch the website and at all the football games & email to order yours!

August 08-  School is just around the corner as we prepare for the first football game with "Shawty get loose" hip hop routine.  The summer has been long and we all look forward to getting back to school to get in a routine.  We have 9 (nine) Seniors on our team and they are planning to make it the best year ever!  We are planning three (3) Pom Pals Clinics this year, one in fall, one at Christmas time and one in Winter.  In addition we will have five competitions that we will be competiting in, Regionals and definately State!  Our Father/Daughter Dance is scheduled for the end of February.  We are planning & preparing for our "Man-Pom" routine during Homecoming week.

July 08 - UDA Camp here we come!  We spent four unbelieveable days with UDA!  We won a "Superior Dance Trophy"  which has NEVER been won before by MLHS!!  This trophy qualified our team to attend the National Dance Championship in Florida!  We had one FUN time and look forward to future clinics and attending the camp next summer.

June 08 - Our schedule began with four practices a week.  We added technique teachers, Megan Yanke & Sara Zavadsky, both talented dancers.  They have been a huge addition to our staff.  Plus they are just a whole lot of fun!!!  We prepared two routines for our new camp at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells.  UDA (Universal Dance of America) is really light years above the prior camps we have been to.  The team prepared very hard.  New Hip Hop costumes were purchased that are fab!  We also added awesome new Varsity Motion Flex long sleeve tops with silver & black sparkle.  They definately have more pizzaz.  We also have new team poms that are fab too!  Everyone can't wait to use all the new team stuff!! 

May 08 - We began practice this year the week after school ended!  We are determined to place higher in State this year in more than one competition.
