Thursday:  Collect HW, 7 Wonders of the World Video with students taking notes - relating to "Art and Architecture", Quiz 1:1 - Geography and 8 Feats of Civilizations
Friday:  Finish 7 Wonders of the World and add notes. Test on Chapter 1 Wednesday (Review Tuesday)

8/27/07

Monday:  First Day - Students make rounds to learn new rules, get schedules, get pictures taken.

Tuesday:  Syllabus, Book Distribution, Student Information Sheets completed for teachers records.  Homework:  Books need to be covered by Wednesday (and must stay covered all year long).

Wednesday:  Finish Syllabus, Seating Chart, Check that books are covered.  Homework:  Essay (Minimum of 10 Sentences, "Why is History Important?" - Due Thursday

Thursday:  Notes on 5 Themes of Geography, Quiz Friday on Listing the 5 Themes of Geography and 25 of the 50 US States.

Friday:  Quiz on Listing Themes of Geography and 25 of the 50 US States. Homework: Read Chapter 1 Section 3 in the book and answer questions 1-6 on page 17. (Due Tuesday)
