Course Information

 

Course Description

    This course is designed to give a well-rounded understanding of the basic principles and processes in each of the major fields of science: biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics.  Special emphasis will be placed on the skills necessary to the effective study of science such as: measurement, metric system, graphing, microscopy, scientific method, basic laboratory skills, data interpretation, and writing the laboratory report.  After successful completion of this course, the student should be well prepared for taking other department courses.
