Course Information

  • Two semester course

  • Open to grades 9, 10, 11, 12
  • Prerequisites: Required, MA 160 or higher
  • Instructors: Miss Monica Siebarth and Mr. Peter Heintz

Course Description

The course will cover all major fields in biology; the units of study include cytology, genetics, human anatomy and physiology, zoology, and ecology. The course is taught from the perspective that God created all life. A variety of learning strategies is utilized including lecture, reading, independent research, video and computer presentation, and an extensive use of hands on laboratory investigation.

Unit One: Botany

Unit Two: Cellular and Molecular Biology

Unit Three: Human Anatomy and Phys.

Unit Four: Creation, Evolution, and Dinosaurs

Unit Five: Zoology
