Homework
You are to have required work completed with you at the time it is due. Reasonable excuses are acceptable and more time may be given for completion. However, excuses like "I left it at home", "it's in my locker" or "I had to work last night" are unacceptable and will receive a lower grade. No passes will be issued to go back to a locker for missing work. Missing work still needs to be completed and shown to the instructor. You will receive partial credit for the assignment. If you are absent, you are responsible to find out what was missing during your absence and make arrangements with me if more time is needed.
Absence
If you were absent, you have the number of days you are absent to make up work assigned when you were gone. Absence on the day an assignment or test is due means you will be asked to show that assignment or take the test in the period you return. Teacher exceptions may be granted for extended illness or unusual circumstances.
Planned Absence
If you are absent for a planned absence [vacations, field trips, retreats, early release for sports, performances, student council activities, school meetings, etc…] please make arrangements to turn in any due work, labs, reviews, homework or projects before you leave. Any tests missed will be given on the day you return.
Tardy
You are tardy unless both feet are in the door. No excused tardy without a pass. School Tardy Policy will be followed.
Cheating
Cheating is sinful and will not be tolerated. Depending on the type of infraction or amount this may result in a "zero" score for the item, a call home, a referral, or all three.
