These pages pertain to the Old Testament course that is presented to the students who are enrolled in Mr. Pollock's classes for periods 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8.

NEW OR UPDATED PAGES

The new School Theme page has been uploaded with this year's graphic (8/18).  The theme page from last year is still available.  The Christian Character page has been updated with the words for this school year (8/19). The Teaching Schedule page has been updated with the Thursday afternoon information and updated times (8/21).  The Syllabus has also been updated (8/21).

 

ASSIGNMENTS FOR FRESHMAN RELIGION

Daily Assignment:

Fill in the unit review sheet for the section of the material that was covered in class that day, review your worksheets as you prepare for the next class, and study for your quizzes and test using your unit review sheets.  The dates for upcoming quizzes and tests are listed under "Upcoming Assignments" and "Important Dates" on this page and also under "Quiz and Test Planner" and "1st Semester Planner".

Be sure to bring your NIV Bible, Religion Folder, Student Planner, and Pens/Pencils to class every day (See "Welcome - New Students" and "Syllabus" for information).

 

Upcoming Assignments:

Fill out and return the completed form - "Request for Information" - due on Thursday, August 28.

The first check for the NIV Bible and Religion Folder is on Friday, August 29.

Study for Quiz #1 (based on pages 2-4, 12-13 of Unit 1) - scheduled for Monday, September 8.

Study for Quiz #2, (based on pages 5-7, 10-11, 13-14 of Unit 1) - scheduled for Friday, September 12

Study for the Unit 1 Test (based on pages 2-7, 10-14 of Unit 1) - scheduled for Tuesday, September 16

Study for the Books of the Old Testament Quiz - Correct order and correct spelling of the 39 books of the Old Testament - scheduled for Friday, September 19
