Course Description:
This course is a preparation for Calculus. It includes the study of algebra, trigonometry, functions, matrices, probability, statistics, limits and complex numbers. A graphing calculator is required.
Topics of Study:
- functions, graphing functions and trigonometric funtions
- applications of trigonometry and trigonometric functions
- solving, graphing, factoring and finding zeros of quadratics and other polynomials
- solving exponential and logarithmic functions
- limits and an introduction to derivatives
