Suggestions:

1.  Learning a foreign language requires constant study and practice.

2.  You ALWAYS have a homework assignment in Spanish-to review the grammar and study vocabulary for at least 20 minutes a day.

3.  Use of English in class MUST be kept to a minimum.

4.  If you experience difficulty memorizing, techniques such as flash cards, testing with a partner, writing difficult words many times, and reading outloud are helpful.

5.  Try to watch 5-10 minutes a day of the Spanish Channel on TV.

6.  Practice our lessons outloud at home.  Read stories and poems outloud a number of times.
