WORLD LITERATURE
survey course of non-American literary selections, with an emphasis on western classical pieces. The majority of the students' time will be spent working directly with the literary selections, but there will also be a vocabulary emphasis and journal writing about the selections read. Students are also required to read and report on a set number of books off of a preset reading list which also includes books by American authors.
